Business owners may ask, "Where are people engaging with email the most?" Given that a majority of consumers have a smartphone or tablet near them at all times, it is no surprise that 53% of emails are opened on mobile devices.
That statistic is only set to rise as more and more marketers create mobile optimized templates that provide a consistent user experience across all devices - whether you're reading an email on iPhone, Outlook or Gmail. Keep in mind that consumers may begin reading an email on their mobile device, yet finish it on their desktop.
