Starting today, Facebook has released a new feature for Branded Facebook Pages. You can now use a video as your Facebook Page Cover Image. The video can be 20-90 seconds long and should be at least 820x312.
Any cover video that is used will automatically start playing when someone visits a brand page. Cover videos are preset to have the sound turned off, so if you wish to listen to the video you must turn the sound on.
This opens up a wide range of options for brand pages to show highlighted video content, brand stories and more.
